Thank you. Even before I was reading this thread, we had planned for the Harmony cruise to be our last cruise on Royal for quite a while. I really want it to be a good one.

I despise them also.  I even hate it when they point any lights toward the audience.  DH has to use earplugs.  They are killing our hearing and vision.

I have no idea why some people seem to think louder is better. A couple of weeks ago on Adventure I couldn't even go into the pub as the guitar player was ridiculously loud. He would also play a harmonica at an ear splitting volume. Maybe they do it to compensate for a lack of talent.

 

I agree about the light thing too. I find it very uncomfortable to be in a darkened theater and suddenly lights are shining in my eyes.
