CynCyn Posted February 8, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Thank you! Have been waiting for them to pay more on my August cruise. I even have about $25 in drive wise cash!
dearinger Posted February 8, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Can this be used to pay for air fare that is arranged through Princess? I don’t see an option to use the gift card when paying for airfare on their site.
AF-1 Posted February 8, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2020 (edited) What you can buy gift cards with your allstate rewards points? That is cool! Edited February 8, 2020 by AF-
2ferfun Posted February 8, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2020 Just went to buy two ($450 cards) and it would only let me buy one. After I bought it the $450 now says sold out. Did I literally get the last one or does it limit per account?
franktown Posted February 8, 2020 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2020 (edited) Just checked still shows available. They might be limiting it to one. Last time I had no trouble buying 2. You can always try to buy a bunch of $100 gift cards Edited February 8, 2020 by franktown add

I don’t see an option to use the gift card when paying for airfare on their site. You can call Princess and have them added to your account. It’s cool to see them show up in your personalizer as you are on the phone. I was able to buy 10 $100 cards. Thanks @neverbeenhere for the heads up!!
dearinger Posted February 9, 2020 #10 Share Posted February 9, 2020 Are these issues immediately or do you have to wait and get them in the mail?
neverbeenhere Posted February 9, 2020 Author #11 Share Posted February 9, 2020 Wait for mail. They will cost 59cents mailing for each card.
Saukkey1 Posted February 11, 2020 #12 Share Posted February 11, 2020 It’s showing Sold Out. Anyone know how often they put new ones up again?
Tedferg Posted February 11, 2020 #13 Share Posted February 11, 2020 I have not heard of these, what are they ?
neverbeenhere Posted February 11, 2020 Author #14 Share Posted February 11, 2020 here you go... no, you don’t need to be an Allstate customer. Look at the Carnival Board for a long thread on this subject. There are “codes” included on the board that will allow you tens of thousands of points. The points are used for discounts on gift cards along with other merchandise. 10% off Travel giftcards and chain dining giftcards are the biggest attraction, but there are more. From Allstate Drivewise App... Allstate wants to reward drivers for their everyday safe driving. With Drivewise® or Milewise® you can earn Allstate Rewards points for savings on daily deals, local offers, gift cards, travel and brand-name merchandise. Plus, you can also use your points for chances to win great prizes in live auctions and sweepstakes!
neverbeenhere Posted February 11, 2020 Author #15 Share Posted February 11, 2020 I personally have purchased many many thousands of card and certificates with the only issue that I had to wait up to ten days to receive the cards. Cost for mailing has always been 59 cents per card no matter how many I have ordered at a time. Princess gift cards are standard cards that you can use for payment or to add OBC to a cruise. RCLs are gift certificates that work differently, but can be used in any amounts as payment towards an original RCL booking .(online or telephone direct) after receiving the credit for the certificates (5 days), I transfer the booking to my preferred travel agency. neverbeenhere Posted February 11, 2020 Author #16 Share Posted February 11, 2020 BTW: I don’t work or have any direct financial interest in the Allstate Corporation. (Yes, I may hold an ETF that holds shares in Allstate, but I really don’t know)

Thanks for detailed reply, I did not find discussion on Carnival board, I scanned titles on first 6 pages. Sadly I still o not understand the process, but no problem, thanks for your response. We are long term Allstate customers and BTW I do not think the Safe Driver Awards apply in California. Lastly I am intrigued by your 'many, many thousands' comment 🙂

Vegastime Posted February 14, 2020 #22 Share Posted February 14, 2020 These are back in stock. Just got two of the $500 cards. Can't believe how easy it was thanks to the posts on the Carnival thread. As mentioned you don't have have Allstate.
neverbeenhere Posted February 14, 2020 Author #23 Share Posted February 14, 2020 A bit of a reminder: Princess apparently wants to credit your refund to the gift cards, if you cancel the cruise. So, keep the cards until after you sail. (We have never cancelled a cruise while using giftcards)
