ms Nieuw Statendam and Eurodam in Port Everglades February 16, 2020

Recommended Posts

It looks like a nice day in Port Everglades.  We have a storm going all day with hailstones, snow and lots and lots of rain.

Oh to be onboard a dam ship!

Is it that same storm Dennis that is flooding Wales so bad?

Yes!  It tends to hit us first as we stick further out into the Atlantic 😂

I don't envy you, reports had parts of Wales getting more rain in the last 48 hours than they get in a month.  Way too much water.

Yes it has been wet!  We are expecting 200% of months normal rain to fall today/tomorrow! 😱

LOL!  It's something that I have never seen watching many sailaways.

that is a great close up of the Eurodam bow on the PE cam.  Have not seen a shot like that before.

You are right, the PE cam usually doesn't get that close, but it does happen from time to time.

Is the gangway is still in place?

I am not sure.  It could be just the perspective of the long lens.
