Does anyone know if the shareholder benefit be stacked on top of Amex Platinum benefits?

Also if i have 2 rooms my wife in one and me in another and we hold the shares in a joint account does each stateroom get the credit?

Yes you can if in the joint account you own at least 200 shares of RCL stock.  You need 100 shares for each stateroom.

At the start of the pandemic it went from $130 to about $20. RCCL is still losing money.

I was able to buy a nice chunk at the drop. Did not buy at the lowest of $19 and change but was able to purchase under $20.  Bought some and figure if I hold onto 200 shares just for the OBC, it will pay off when we book our 40th cabin.  It will be many years before we see a dividend.

Waiting for the RCL stock to go sub $35 and I will be buying more shares.  Right now at mid $60 still too high for me with RCL bleeding money.  Now with this conflict and inflation....still room for stock to drop IMO.

I got the shareholder OBC on each room (mind and husband's)  and only have 100 shares.

Shhh be quiet. It probably slipped by the department.  On our march cruise, I applied for shareholders OBC on my room and wifes room.  I was told that I would need to own at least 200 shares if applying credit for 2 cabins on same cruise.  Sent in pdf of brokerage statement showing we own more than enough shares to get the credit for both cabins.

Just thinking out loud. If brokerage statement lists 100 shares in both names and you apply for shareholders credit. One person applies now and after you get the OBC attached to your cabin, then other shareholder applies for OBC for their cabin. How would RCl know that you only own 100 shares and are using the same 100 share statement?

How much obc do you get.  We have owned it for years and never knew.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.  Check your cruise planner and see if it's listed at the top.

I never got confirmation of my stock owner On-Board Credit but I did get an updated invoice from RCI that showed the $100 OBC.

I was booked in a group rate, and requested & received my shareholder OBC.  I went to my TA to upgrade my stateroom to a higher category out of the group rate, but for a lesser price, so my TA had to cancel my reservation and book with a new booking number.  I lost the OBC and all my cruise planner items.

I sent an email with broker statement in the morning, and that afternoon,  shareholder OBC was back in cruise planner, and received updated invoice from Royal showing all their OBC.  This was the 2nd time I requested shareholder OBC and it was received and documented the same day, using email.

How can you say you never got confirmation if they sent you an updated invoice with the OBC listed?
