What will you do with the OBC being offered by carnival for certain cruises

Steakhouse!  Spa service without guilt over how expensive it is.  Build a Bear for the kids.  So many options.  We've already bought Cheers & prepaid gratuities.  But I'm sure we'll find a way to spend it.  😉

We're getting $150 and were already planning to do the Behind the Fun tour, so instead of it costing $190 for two of us it'll only be $40 out of pocket. If by some reason we can't book it (we have FTTF so should get to the excursion desk before it's sold out) or change our minds we'll probably just play more bingo or eat at the steakhouse a couple of nights.

The Behind the Fun tour was one of the best things i have on a cruise. Did it on last cruise. 3 hours lots of walking Don't bring Phone or Camera they check you. learned and saw a lot. Enjoy!!

I do not believe it makes any difference, as long as you are cruising,  if you cancelled I think the original on board credit would go away,.but not positive on that, not a casino expert by any margin.

Thanks. I got confirmation that it didn't make a difference, plus we got our OBC letter today as well.

I haven't recieved a letter or email. We are still going on or cruise April 19th out of Tampa on Carnival. Any idea when the email or small mail letter will be going out? I don't see the $200 obc on my booking either yet. Just curious.

$200 OBC! I have always browsed the shops on the ship but never bought anything like the clothing or sandals I'd probably buy something from the shop. I'm usually always buying the $10 items lol.

My dinners would already be paid for in advance and I usually have my ship and sail sign account with a budget that I stick to so the extra money goes to something silly.

I booked with a casino rate and already have a previous $200 OBC for my cruise on the Vista 3/28/20.  I'm curious,  just like Matylil above, would having a casino rate with an existing OBC affect getting another $200 OBC offered by Carnival if we keep our cruise reservation?  I haven't received the email from Carnival giving us the additional OBC.  I see Matylil said "I got confirmation that it didn't make a difference, plus we got our OBC letter today as well."  Matylil, may I ask, how did you get confirmation that it didn't make a difference?  Was that from the letter you received or somewhere else?  We are up in the air about this cruise as far as getting stuck, we have no fear of getting sick, but if we get even more OBC we are not canceling.  LOL  Any insight on this is appreciated!
