FCC ? Split Party

Hi CC. Hopefully someone knows the answer. We have a party of 5 people in 2 cabins ( parties A & B in cabin 1 and parties C,D,E in cabin 2)

 

Party C still wants to cruise even though parties D and E want to cancel.

 

My question is, if Party C still sails as planned, will parties D and E still get their full FCC?

Each cabin is a separate reservation and treated separately. 

 

In order to receive a fcc all parties in the cabin must cancel

All parties need to cancel in order to get FCC

Last night's chat on  Royal Caribbean Blog, Matt (the owner/moderator) said that he had confirmed  a husband and wife traveling in the same cabin were able to split the FCC.  One wanted to go and the other did not, so RCCL gave the husband his credit while the wife is still able to go!

I  just got off the phone with RC. The Casino Royal rep told me that the whole cabin had to cancel to receive the FCC.

If only one canceled then no go.

Why not cancel all three people, all three get FCC, then the person who still wants to go can repurchase a (now discounted) room.

The FCC can't be used to pay for the re-purchased cruise, but it could be applied to another future cruise.

Call them or message them.  I am in the same boat and was told by RC that they amended the policy today and my cruise buddy can get FCC and I do not have to pay any extra to go on the cruise.
