We have a local TV meteorologist named James Spann.  Whenever there's sever weather, he goes live until it's over.  The joke is, you can tell how bad it is based on his level of dress.  If his jacket is buttoned and tie is straight, then no worries.  When the tie gets loosened, it could get rough.  When the jacket comes off and the sleeves are rolled up, its a weather apocalypse.  

 

We have 2 guys here in CT that do the exact same thing. I particularly love when they zoom in and tell you that it's raining on a certain street. Well, DUH ! ! !
