I really  enjoyed reading your review. I am suppose to be on a cruise in January of 2021, but who knows what will happen.  Will I have to cancel or will it be done for me.

Loved the "Food Porn" pictures if I get the chance I would love to try the  pork belly.

Stay safe and here's to hoping we will all be on the high seas again.

Thank you so much for writing Noreen,

I don’t often read reviews but I really enjoyed your story style and have read it gradually over this evening (it’s 10.25pm in the UK right now).
Definitely want to try the Lawn Club and Tuscan Grill now looking at the food! We’re hoping to try Aqua Class as an in between and to get the Persian Garden and smaller Blu restaurant.
Thank you again, Jen

Hi

Thank you for your kind words.

We enjoyed the food on Celebrity.  We tried Blu for breakfast on our Celebrity Reflection cruise but never tried it for dinner.

You may want to try the Renaissance Inn on 17th street next time.  The prices are similar to the Hyatt and has recently been refreshed.  It's our go to hotel in the area.

Hi

Thank you for the recommendation.  We will look into it next time we cruise out of Fort Lauderdale

Hi

Thank you for the kind words.

I miss that pork belly - it was delicious, the best pork belly we’ve had yet

It’s so much easier to remember to take food pictures than pictures when you are running around.  I think we have more pictures of food than anything else.

I’m starting to wonder about January too.  We were hopeful that maybe by our New Year’s cruise things will be better but now we’re not sure about that either.  Scary times.

Stay safe

Thank you for entertaining us during our time without cruises; it was another great blog! 🤞 you get to celebrate New Year’s at sea because it’s simply the best, and because we are also hoping to be at sea for New Year’s!

Hi.  Thank you for the kind words.  I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.

New Year’s on Anthem is the only trip we have left for 2020 (well starting in 2020).    As much as I would love to go, I know it may not happen.   I’m holding out some hope that it may, but know it’s a long shot.

Stay safe

Noreen

Hello Noreen

what a fantastic review we sailed the same trip in March 2019 and it was fantastic to discover this it brought back so many memories. Our cruises for 2020 were all cancelled and we have a Celebrity suite booked Royals are sold out for the Apex sailing 27 Feb 2021, will it sail who knows, hope so.

I love driving in America and drove from Atlanta to Nashville, Memphis and then to Biloxi to take in New Orleans.Great trip but was so glad we had booked our hotels because we were in Nashville when 9/11 happened.
Anyway I notice you have the Constellation booked for Feb 22, we had her booked

as well but switched to the Millennium sailing from Ft Lauderdale instead of Tampa. The Constellation has not been refurbished due to COVID.

If you visit Antigua again think about visiting St John’s Harbour, we took the local bus great experience the people are lovely. We then took a boat from the harbour to the hotel across from the harbour. We paid a fee which included use of the facilities and lunch with 2 drinks each. Very private and a wonderful beach which can only be accessed from the hotel. We decided to take the bus after a bad experience with a local taxi on a previous visit and reading some good advice on these boards.

once again many thanks for the review it felt like we were sailing along with you

so much so that tomorrow I am going to read your review of the reflection.

Stay Safe

Great review Noreen.  I didn't see the review until swigso posted since I was avoiding cruise critic since March as it was too depressing.  However as Norris - Bimmer09 can attest, I am frequently late to his reviews as well :}

I like to read reviews of suites as I can't justify the expense but it is nice to see them.

Robert

Off to read your Reflection review now.

Thank you, Noreen, for an amazing review. I don't think I have ever seen such a detailed and comprehensive review and I really enjoyed reading it.

(I think the seashells Scott found are sea urchins. When they fossilise they are called Shepherd's Crowns.)

Best wishes

Jules
