Ms Amsterdam in Fremantle

Recommended Posts

i was on the ship since jan 4. was finally able to disembark and go to a hotel yesterday morning after we were first told that the australian government disallowed passengers to go to a hotel and wait for their flights a day or two later. what a frigging decision that was, sound like a nazi one. absolutely no coronavirus cases on board, the authorities checked the ship and the medical records for hours andhours......and the ship was in australian waters for abt.  2 weeks. somebody with brains cancelled that ruling again so we are now in a fremantle hotel and can relax after the mess on board, the troubles finding ad hoc flights and the helplessness of the amsterdam management......

the amsterdam should have cancelled the voyage already in sydney....but the ship is a cash cow........

National government has reversed the local decision on the use of hotels.  Passengers may go to hotels to wait for their flights.  Some have already done this.

what a glorious decision. long live the government officials with brain !!!!!
