Hopefully Manilla has opened up to some flights by now.

It sounds like from the internet "chatter" that only essential staff are staying on (and anyone who is showing symptoms).  Many crew are being sent home if their contracts are ending and perhaps just being furloughed.

There are two "pods" of cruise ships anchored out between Florida and the Bahamas and many others sailing arund.

I was on the same itinerary in 2018 (BsAs to San Antonio). 
 

Pax were roughly 1/4 from each country: UK, Canada, Australia, US with US the 4th largest group. There were only a handful of SA citizens- I believe from Argentina.

Port website show confirmed times for both ships.  15:30 for Zaandam and 16:00 for Rotterdam.  Both showing schedules departure tonight.

I am wondering & guessing that they might be making sure that their fresh water tanks are completely full and that any other tanks are where they need to be.  Just a guess.

Just got the results today (13 days later).  I'm negative for COVID.  Hope you are ok too.

Note:  the Zaandam has had better tests for COVID than the state of Florida
