That's fantastic news!  Congrats.  Those checkups are an emotional roller coaster.  Keep kicking cancer's a$$.

Having a good Oncologist is very important.Mine is not only a great doctor but a wonderful person .I trust him more than any doctor I have ever been to.

We are back from our first post pandemic cruise on the Edge.

Will update but have a lot of reading to catch up on first. It was a fantastic cruise.

I was planning to check in while on the cruise but did not have a chance to because:

1. Was enjoying so much that I kept saing “will do later....” and never got around to it.

2. DH said that the internet speed sucked and there was some outage for a couple of days....so did not try.

So much speculation and many made up stories aka pot stirring on CC about protocols......things were different on board.  I will elborate later.

Glad to hear that the two of you had a good cruise.

We’ve been up in Lake Tahoe for several days now and because of the fire that’s about 10 miles from here, the sky has been very hazy and smoky.  Just yesterday it started to clear a bit.

This morning you can finally see the sun rising.

Me too.  Not into dead animal heads for decorations.  😄

Then you probably would not like this restaurant/bar that we would frequent, when visiting our son when he was in college.

Losing signal already.  Next place in just over 3 weeks will be much more "user friendly".   Will give more updates then.

Take care everyone, and be safe!   I am looking for bears right now.  😮😉

Your latest residence is beautiful.  Enjoy the lake!!!

Crystal, you and Nate really hit the jackpot with your beautiful, spacious home (I love the flooring), and your own beach and cabanas!!!  Awesome.  I know you'll enjoy it all to the fullest!!

Ain't it the truth....😢

That's for sure!  That anxiety never goes away.  It's always in the back of your head.  It just reminds us to live each day as a gift and a blessing.

Really happy for you, @JamesEM!

It was raining and 54°F at the beach afterwards but now it has brightened up and is 60°F.

You can send some of of that cool here.  Before noon here and it’s a humid 88F.  This afternoon hitting 96F and tomorrow afternoon 100F.  Wouldn’t be as bad I f the humidity was down.

We had a massive shower with thunder and lightning this afternoon.

It is sunny again now at 16.33pm and 59°F.

A petite, ladylike southern lady invited me to lunch with mutual friends at her home.
Her living room and dining room were filled with her and her late  husband’s trophies. They must have made the taxidermist wealthy.
Why would anyone shoot a giraffe? They had one of every animal I saw in Kenya. It was absolutely horrible and no way could I eat there.
I developed a massive headache, made my excuses, and left.
I have no trouble eating meat, but to kill animals to stuff them, no way.

WE have been haying a good rain also.  Just registered 2 inches on my weather station. Hasn't stopped yet.  Our storm drains work real well in our neighborhood, this is no problem for us.

We get a lot of rainy days on the NE coast of England normally but this summer we have had very little rain in the last 6 week's.

Sorry but that's disturbing, especially the elephant. I pray it's not real.

Once again I read that as the New England coast. When will I ever learn?
