Do any cruise lines sell them on board? If not, they should. I've seen them on a few Royal ships. Here are the 4 that I have. Three of them came with long straps. I prefer shorter straps so I made the ones with the beads. Edited January 4 by ReneeFLL

I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear it's still going to this day.

What I was thinking for that day is to go to the Chill Island section. We just want a chair in the shade, access to food, drink, bathrooms and maybe some snorkeling. Does this sound like the right area for that? Just FYI, Chill Island is comprised of three different little coves. Most people come off the pier and walk to the left over the bridge (the yellow line). Another way is to ride the tram (the red line) to the end of the road where it turns around, which is at the third little cove. Not as many people seem to go that way in the mornings, so it seems to be less crowded there than at the "yellow line" end of the beach. The food/restroom area is the purple circle. I haven't done Chill Island for a couple of years now, but I know they used to have a problem with the sargassum blowing in, sinking, and rotting. Once you got out maybe thigh/hip deep, the ground under your feet got kind of slimy and your foot would sink into it a bit, plus it would give off a bit of a sulphur smell as you stepped through it. I do not know if it's still that way, just a fair bit of warning. Breezy Bay Beach is the one on the bottom right of the photo, and it's the stop before (and after) the end of the tram line. That's also the Oasis Lagoon pool stop that lets you off by the swim-up bar end of the pool. Breezy Bay doesn't seem to have the slimy sand problem, but the waves are stronger there, so there is often a tall "ledge" or "shelf" under the water that can be difficult to climb back up because it kinda collapses under your feet as you're going up it. Another option is Harbor Beach, which is the cove in the center of the island (and where the tenders used to drop you off before the pier was built). The water here is very calm, so there's no underwater ledge/shelf to deal with. It's also protected from the sargassum situation, so there's no stinky, slimy sand underfoot. You can get to Harbor Beach by walking the orange line, or come from the other end by walking the yellow line over the bridge, then turning right. There are two buffet options from Harbor Beach -- the green circle or the purple circle. They both offer the same foods, so just go to whichever is closest. They both have restrooms nearby as well. The closest Snack Shack (unless they've built another recently that I don't know about) is going to be at the Breezy Bay tram stop (just before and just after the end of the line at Chill Island). The snack shop has the free drink dispensers (water, flavored water) and the much touted Chicken Sandwich, mozzarella sticks, and funnel cakes, in addition to burgers, fries, and some salad options (I think Caesar and pasta?). You can also take the chicken breast off a sandwich and add it to a Caesar salad. I hope this helps! Edited January 4 by brillohead 6

It at least looks like they've changed the cabanas to read "per package" instead of "per person"! I don't know how many threads there used to be each month asking about if they had to buy a cabana for each person in the group!!!!
