It can only be a 7 day cruise on a ship that is at least a year old and a balcony to get it free regardless of the price. If it doesn’t fit this criteria then it’s $2400.00 off of any cruise. We decided to book the 7 day Icon in an aft large balcony for next April which is 7 days. We would prefer to cruise out of Port Everglades, but it is what it is. The price would have cost us $8,889.24. 😳 😱😖 We are only having to pay $368.24 for taxes. We will never, ever pay those kind of prices for a 7 day cruise. We never thought we would sail the Icon again because of the prices, but for this bargain we will. Getting icon for taxes, what a deal.
Sunshine3601 Posted February 25 #116054 Share Posted February 25 This evening we had a unknown caller that Eric answered and of course it was a scammer. They went on tell him they were calling from some law firm (never understood the name with his broken English) and that he owes over $7600 on a HSBC credit card from 2010 and they are going to sue him unless he pays the settlement fee of $4100. Eric turned and asked me if we ever had a HSBC card, I don't remember having one. He then said, look I am not about to pay anyone without any proof of said debt and to please mail all the supporting documentation. The guy then went on to say "what do you think I am in the middle east" Eric said I have no idea where you are but it would be highly unlikely to receive a call from a law firm at 7:15 pm on a Saturday night. The guy then said, come on you know you owe it so just pay up. Eric then asked "What life event happened that you decided to become a criminal?" This is one of our favorite lines. They hung up! We rarely ever answer calls from unknown callers but I guess Eric was bored and wanted to play🤣 3

mets07 Posted February 25 #116056 Share Posted February 25 Hello all! You might recall I posted many months ago a photo of the Carnival Venezia as we saw her departing from Manhattan. It got us interested and we just completed a 12 night cruise on the Venezia that went to Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, and St. Maarten. The ship is beautiful and we enjoyed Carnival's complimentary food options. If you are big on pools, it is probably not the ship for you.... they are small in number and size. Here are some photos, primarily from the various ports of call. Antigua: Dominica: Grenada: St. Lucia: St. Maarten:
DaniDanielle Posted February 25 #116057 Share Posted February 25 Our trip to AC ended up with Charlie falling in the shower. He got lightheaded and just went down. He is sore and black and blue and getting him home is going to be fun. My daughter is down here and is coming over in the morning to drive home with us. Hopefully, he will just need rest. I have to say security was great, they were up here in five minutes and got him on his feet. No more trips for us.

One called saying he was her grandson and was calling from jail and she just played right along. She loved to talk about her calls with scammers.

A friend of mine fell in the shower, and broke his shoulder last fall. His friend he was visiting in Michigan was able to drive him back to PA, but he had to get back to Michigan before winter to retrieve his car. Hope Charlie heals quickly. 4

On a positive note, he didn't break anything or hit his head. Does he have a shower bench at home? When we redid our master bathroom bath I was so happy to have one built in, especially since Eric now has Orthostatic Hypotension where his pressures drop regularly. I hope everyone feels better once home.(((((❤️))))) 7

She told him first thing in the morning to mix 8 - 16 oz. water, a capful of lemon juice and 1/8 tsp of pink salt and drink it up. He could not believe the change. His energy level is back up there. He feels great and is 81. Wouldn't hurt to try it! 5
