Blackduck59 Posted August 9, 2022 Author #5628 Share Posted August 9, 2022 First Judith Durham, now Olivia Newton John. Two extraordinary talents lost to the world. They are remembered fondly around the world. Go rest high on that mountain, you will find a hell of a band there.

We also lost Archie Roach, an incredibly talented indigenous man with a haunting, rich voice.

I woke up with a headache this morning and then found out about Olivia Newton John's passing. I saw her in concert with John Farnham a few years ago. It was an excellent concert.

Rare Mareblu Posted August 9, 2022 #5632 Share Posted August 9, 2022 Leigh, when I “liked” your post about Olivia above, I didn’t mean I liked your headache. All the golden voices we’ve lost. We may all have to practise karaoke and, at least in my case, pretend we can sing. Hope you’re having a lovely time in Cairns.

Thank you Linda, I didn't think you meant my headache! W up with a headache was not a good start to the day and then when I heard about Olivia, it made it worse.

We particularly love the British detective shows and mysteries, travel and cooking programmes. Fox caters for those, and Netflix has some great movies. If you like British detective shows you may want to check out Acorn TV, it's almost a dedicated streaming service to that genre😂.

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted August 14, 2022 #5650 Share Posted August 14, 2022 The British Sausage Company now sells a Welsh sausage, with leeks and lots of pepper in it. Very yummy. Coles usually sells this brand but not always all their different varieties.
