CRUISE DATE-CANCELLATION DATE-REFUND DATE???

Hi, just want to ask did you receive this by letter mail or parcel mail? I was notified by Princess that a cheque from Bottomline Technologies was sent out on May 1 but up till now I still haven't received yet. I live in Ontario, Canada. Hope it won't take that long to get it :(

I'm in BC and was told that mine was mailed On March 13th. I didn't get it...

Oh my god, it's ridiculous too long to receive a mail from USA to Cadana. Did you call Princess to ask or do something?

I didn't know anything about it until I called Princess to ask about my refund at the end of April. The rep claimed that the shore excursions that had been paid via paypal had been refunded but the refund had been declined by Paypal (not sure why, since I use it for a lot of things and never had an issue before). Since it was declined, she said a cheque had been issued and mailed on March 13th. As I said, I have not received it and honestly not even sure I believe anything Princess tells me any more. I have since disputed the charge with Paypal and they are looking into it. If the cheque does show up, I will cancel the dispute. This is just a very small portion of what they owe me.

Cruise date  10March Cancelled by Princess 13 March  debark 18 March Claim sent 23 March -  

Refunds - Zilch Nada  rien

I have a few  ridiculous emails suggesting

a,  You were given the wrong letter on board.

b,  You can only claim 70% not 80% 

c,  It is because the letter you have is for the cruise from Brisbane  and you should have had the one

for Sydney   which is a lower offer because you had less days on the ship.

( Yes we did - which means we lost more cruise days than those from Brisbane so we should have more!)

d .I am out of the office from 9 May until  13 May   so I emailed again today  and

e .am out of the office from 14 May  until  until  20 May .   I only work  wednesday to Fridays. 

 

So far I have spent a hell of a lot more time on this than Princess have.

Cruise date April 04. Caribbean Princess cancelled by Princess on March 12.

we chose option 2.

We received FCC. Our future cruise deposit  was returned to our account last week.
Remaining full balance returned to our credit card today.

 

We hope everyone receives good news in the next few days.

2 Grand Princess cruises cancelled by Princess, Sky TA cancelled by me May 6th: 

 

Cruise Date: March 22, 2020
Cancelation Date: March 4th 
Refund Date: March 12th:  full refund + 50% FCC. Other 50% FCC still pndg (Option 2)

 

Cruise Date: March 29, 2020
Cancelation Date: March 12th 
Refund date: April 20th FCC, transferred holding account May 14th to new Alaska cruise (Option 1)

 

Cruise Date: September 4, 2020
Cancelation Date: May 6th
Refund Date: May 27th FCC, waiting on $4215 (declined dbl deposit offer)
