3 hours and holding

I placed the phone call at 1:30 and have been holding on for 3 hours waiting to make a reservation with the princess casino department.  Wondering if everyone is actually on other calls or is something wrong.

We were on hold for 2+ hours.  Once we finally got thru, found out we had a customer rep who handled travel agents, not casino rates......yikes!  She tried to help us, but didn't have the casino info.  She booked our cruise, but we are waiting for someone in the casino dept. to get back to us so we get the correct rates.

Doesn’t help a bit.  I did just that and went to the back of the que.   Still waiting.

Yes, spoke to Matt. Very helpful but cruise I put on hold was not offering g it. 
but I was also calling about my FCD and a new regular booking.

Are you a regular Princess cruiser and gambler ? I have n  Ed ver had to contact the casino department for a casino rate only to get /apply for free play money. The casino rate is automatically plugged in when my Princess Vacation Planner sets up the cruise

They've sent out an email with a alternate contact method:

Just email casinoinquiry@princesscruises.com with the subject line: “April 23 casino offer” and please include your name, the best phone number to reach you and your desired voyages in order of preference. We’ll contact you as soon as we can so you can take advantage of this offer. They have a different phone number to call that is listed on the casino offer email. After I tried unsuccessfully to call twice, I emailed my booking request and at 9:45PM last night Princess sent me a confirmation!

Called Delta air yesterday.  Recording said hold time estimated at 3 hours 40 mins.  Can hold or press 1 to get a call back.  Pressed 1 and 3 hours later got the call.  Since most sitting home anyway not a big deal and worked well for me.  Seems maybe other companies with big call volumes might want to do same.

I called at 8am pacific time this morning and only waited 45 min..... put phone on speaker and continued doing my house cleaning...lol      booked 7 day mexican on the Royal for January /21      Couldn't resist $173 cad pp for 7 days.  I managed to get a sideways inside so can handle that for 7 days.   Only issue is you can't book EZair yet.  The agent tried everything but I"m thinking that there aren't any Canadian flights to the US yet so will book later.

I did learn, that you can't put anything on hold you must pay the taxes and deposit at time of booking.  The deposit will be applied as a OBC when you get on the ship.   Same as Ezair..... must pay at time of booking.

Also once you pick your cabin, that's it for the cruise.  There are no upgrades available for Casino free cruises.    

Not sure cruising will even happen by then, but now I've got something to look forward to.😀

What is the difference in a sideways interior and a regular just did my first inside room and didn't mind it but still prefer a balcony of course...

This is a different number for a casino deal that went out last week.
