Well that's true but it's the wrong way round. Therefore it isn't stage 1 of Australia becoming the West Island of NZ! 🤣 Jeez, wouldn't that give a few pollie-influencers a headache. 🤣🤣🤣 Edited May 4, 2020 by OzKiwiJJ
bazzaw Posted May 4, 2020 #31 Share Posted May 4, 2020 For a start, I just want to see the Border between NSW and Qld opened. That would do me for some time - then maybe the 50Klm car drive increased further.
Rare MicCanberra Posted May 4, 2020 #32 Share Posted May 4, 2020 With the NZ PM joining in on the National Cabinet Meeting, hopefully getting the bubble expanded, it may happen sooner rather than later.

Apparently not. It was one of the sticking points that the players would not be able to see their families for a few months. Seems enough players agreed to this that they were able to go ahead.

The tour guide asked us all where we came from. I responded with "West Island". She did a double take, before picking up on my accent and figuring out what I meant. 1

If there's any likelyhood of covid I wont be going. And, if there is, I reckon travel will not be open for flights or cruises anyway.
