shopgirl151 Posted May 6, 2020 #9 Share Posted May 6, 2020 It is sad. I was supposed to be on the Caribbean in July.
sonomaphil Posted May 6, 2020 #10 Share Posted May 6, 2020 This will be extended. Don't see them starting again until 2021.
sonomaphil Posted May 6, 2020 #11 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Fall season next.
nini Posted May 6, 2020 #12 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Wow... now to see if this creeps into September. Technically, Summer goes to Sept. 22 (Summer Equinox). I especially feel so sad for all of the staff.

One of the reason for all the cancellations is no demand. 50% occupancy restrictions with 25% of those cabins filled is not going to happen.
azbirdmom Posted May 6, 2020 #16 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Sad to see this but I have to say I knew it was coming. I sure hope they can come back from this. I hope we ALL can come back from this!
LHARTWICK Posted May 6, 2020 #17 Share Posted May 6, 2020 So will Princess not contact us directly to inform us our cruise has been cancelled? Thanks to the OP for this information. We've received no notification from PCL - maybe we will receive something shortly. We were on the Emerald to AK in September with a TON of OBC/perks. But honestly, I'm glad it's cancelled. We were waffling as to what to do, but the decision has been made for us. I was actually just as fearful of flying on a plane as I was boarding a ship. We've been to AK several times, and she will be there for us when the time is right. 😢

Esprit Posted May 6, 2020 #19 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Gutted we won’t be on the shiny new Enchanted Princess this August.
franktown Posted May 6, 2020 #20 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Remember the default position is FCC. You need to fill out the form if you want your money back. I personally have no need for additional FCC.
cruzsnooze Posted May 6, 2020 #21 Share Posted May 6, 2020 Since Princess is protecting the commission to TA's for bookings that were paid in full shouldn't we get the perks promised (not their commission). I use a big box company and had a $900 OBC coming so shouldn't that still be paid to me when they get their commission?

CruzinNoony Posted May 6, 2020 #23 Share Posted May 6, 2020 They would probably just put our FCC's back in our account if we fill out the form. It sounds like the original FCC is refundable, so what would we lose by taking their offer of doubling it? I wonder if we have to put it on a specific cruise?

john_galt Posted May 6, 2020 #25 Share Posted May 6, 2020 My Caribbean Princess sailing on November 4 is now shown as the first cruise back for that ship. Not holding my breath. 😵
