Silversea refund processing time

Good to see that SS is still behaving as they were - I've had to cancel several cruises (sigh) and the refunds all arrived a couple of days after the latest date that SS suggested that they would. But arrive they did.

We are a week out from the last day of the promised refund period and now Silversea is asking for two more weeks. Not a good sign. It's a bit of a pyramid scheme, for better or worse.

I'm happy to say that I received a check from Ponant today for a cruise cancelled by them – within the 90 days they promised.  This is much better than they had been doing.  Silversea should be able to do at least as well.

And the refund arrived yesterday, within the promised timeframe. Happy to get it but disappointed to miss another eagerly-anticipated holiday.
