Don’t know what it means but just got an upgrade offer from interior to balcony on Carnival Magic 8 day cruise Aug 1. Upgrade $80 p/p. Maybe it will sale.

I had 2 offer last year to upgrade to balcony from oceanview but turned them down so not expecting another one but who knows.

Got the same offer the aug 28 cruise. main thing I just need is natural light. Booked a inside (porthole), not a big deal for me and I have no real use for a balcony.

Here is my problem with upgrade offers or my casino deals. I have 4 casino deal bookings through January. If you up grade and they get your extra $160 then cancel will you only get FCC which will not cover a balcony on future cruises that may be more full. I am worried about my casino tax and fee only cruises if canceled, I will only have nothing towards FCC and doubt they will honor the original casino deal which would be expired and they will have more cruisers booking in the future. The casino rep really could not give me any definitive answer when I asked about this. So I am hoping all my sailing go on as planned. Four cruises, 26 days of sailing for $1200 for two. I will take my chances and wear a mask for that price.

Yep.  We took the $100 upgrade offer from interior to balcony on our Aug 22nd sailing.

Hello, all, I have an upgrade offer when I log into my Sept 26 scheduled cruise on the Vista.

The offer is to move from a balcony on deck 9 to a balcony on deck 11 for $20 more. 

I had the same offer yesterday but the cabin (11266) showed to be a modified stateroom 

so I was hesitant to accept the offer.  Today, I have the same offer but it shows cabin 11262.

When I look at the cabin details, it does not show to be a modified stateroom; however, it has an asterisk beside the number on the deck plan, as does number 11266.  Does anyone

know what that asterisk means?

We got an upgrade email for that same sailing and I took it. Its one deck higher than our original room.

I got a offer 170 or 270 to move to a ov. I'm inside middeck 6 where I can walk to everything. I wouldnt pay that much to get a ov. Ovs all on lower decks and I'm going to try and avoid the elevators during covid. If was to a balcony great, but not that much to a ov ... offer for october. Crappy upgrade offer.

We’ve gotten Upsell for our two cabins on the Vista 8/15. I haven’t taken it yet. We have 2 cabins close together on deck 6 near the front, and the Upsell are for deck 8 and deck 11. I’d rather keep our cabins together so I probably won’t take it. It was $34 each cabin.

I got an up sell offer on my August 1 cruise on the sensation from OV to junior suite for $250 for a five day cruise and I took it! I paid very little for the OV and suites are always out of my price range. I am on a B2B so I will have to move for my four day after this but I figured it was worth the hassle for the experience.

I wonder if they will let you upgrade both cabins with that offer if you call.

magic, sensation And vista are sailing supposedly in August if things don’t change.

There are plenty of posts that you could have gone to and posted that since it's not related to the topic of upgrades. Plus, the ships that are sailing in August are mentioned in the section you left off.
