Is there an extra price for the MAGIC CARPET??

If you are asking just to jump on and go from floor to floor, no. But the different venues (dining, bars) offered on the different decks will have a cost.

Passengers are not on the Magic Carpet when it moves from spot to spot.  On sea days it was on Deck 14 most of the time and was a bar open to all guests.
Once a cruise they offer a dinner there , weather permitting.

It was an amazing  place morning and night...

If you want the special dinner  "On the EDGE" try to book as soon as you board,.limited space,,offered only once or twice per cruise.port day nights,

We did not luck out but heard it was amazing!

We were on the carpet on the final sea day while it hovered underway off Deck 5.  An AWESOME place for an evening cocktail, easpecially if you can get a seat on either end.   We didn't like the IV, but the carpet was very cool.

We’re early risers and we would get up, walk the deck, have breakfast, change, and head up to the MC. I have to stay in the shade so we didn’t go the first day, but soon realized it was a shady spot. Easy to get a good spot any time prior to lunch. Hang out, read, have a Bellini, highly recommend

Sorry, we usually sail RC but are looking to try Celebrity Edge or Apex next year in a SKY suite. So the Magic Carpet doesn't move with people on it? if you want to go on it,  you have to go through the lounge/restaurant it is parked at? So if in one of the sky suites it ia attached to, there is no one on it?  Thanks!

We accessed on the deck with Solaroum and pool deck.  I believe it is also on another deck at times near  a restaurant . and also  down lower when  in use as a gateway to the  tenders.

Some of the suites along the track will have view impacted ine way or another, depending on whete the MC is parked.  There are reviews, threads and  photos of the views, etc.

Go to Cruisemapper.com and check deck plans for Edge.  I checked all of the decks this morning and am anxious to sail the Edge.  You will have a better understanding of what the previous posters were telling you if you look at the plans.
