So far we’ve only had suites on Oceana and Azura. We’re booked on Britannia in 2022.

The aft suites on Oceana have large balconies, which we loved. Even the aft mini suites have nice deep balconies.

You have to be a bit careful on Azura as some of the aft suites have stanchions, which take up space. Ventura is the same.

Personally, I would never go for a side suite on any ship, because their balconies aren’t usually any deeper than standard balconies, just wider. As you can tell, balconies are

important to us!

On Oceana, suite passenger breakfasts are in a sectioned off part of the main dining room. Other ships have separate restaurants for suite passenger breakfasts.

Suite passengers get priority boarding, a private boarding waiting area and a welcome lunch on board, but only if you’re boarding in Southampton. You don’t get those benefits on fly cruises.

We had a suite on Ventura at the back of the ship.

The balcony was huge with dining table outside and sunbeds.

The suite itself was ok but the walk in wardrobe you could not really get in because of the position of the door.

Also we found that when the sofabed  was made up it was almost touching our bed and quite awkward to get round.

Apart from that it was nice and had all the perks of a suite.

We also had a suite on Britannia at the back again, this was so spacious plenty of space  including wardrobe space felt like two rooms.Bathroom excellent and wrap around balcony loved it.

We have booked this suite again for August 2021.

Also have booked suite for Oceana in September 2021 so cannot  give feedback yet but would like to hear your feedback.

We had booked a suite on Iona but have had this cancelled three times so hopefully we will eventually be able book and enjoy at some time.

Aft suites are the best. On Azura and Ventura you need to google obstructed aft balconies to identify which ones are best. Britannia is very good on the aft but has had problems with soot not sure if thats been dealt with now. However excellent suites. Another vote not for side of ship suites as they do not have a deep balcony just a double length. Some on R deck are directly under the lido on Azura and Ventura and noisy as they set up for the day.
