Celebrity asks for photos every so often for their promotional materials.  A few years ago someone from there messaged a few cruise critic members and our photos ended up on their brochures along with a quote.  Yes, you do have to give up your rights to the photo and all you get are bragging rights in return.

Bragging rights are pretty nice too once you consider you were not forced to participate.

Our missing December Apex "replay" seminar points (50 PUPs) were added today to our accounts as well as my DW received her missing points (20 PUPs) for the Christmas gift. Hopefully, the Alaska seminar CC points will be added in the next few days.

I received 5 points today and the item that could be of interest to others is that I watched the AK presentation via the recording.

My total increased by ten, which should include the Apex webinar. I presume that the other five came from the Alaska Webinar, since that was the only January PUP activity in which I participated.

 

That puts us (me and my wife, with accounts linked) at 299 Captain's Club points - I'd need to check on the number of points I had to start, but around 30 - 35 of that total came from PUP.

 

Just need one more point...

Mine also increased today...by 5 points...I will assume that to be Alaska.  That puts me at 1,023 points.  25 points have come from PUPs (I was shorted on one of the Social Media PUPs)

 

Just need 1,977 more points...

DH will be making it for our Valentines Dinner since we will most likely be snowed in.  Seared Steak in Red Wine Pan Sauce sounds perfect- if it doesn’t turn out so well we’ll just open another bottle of wine😉

I think you should post something you do eat and comment to that effect.   I'm sure there are lots of Captain's Club members who don't eat steak/meat/whatever.  Shouldn't be penalized for not cooking this steak.   Perhaps that's a way to send a message to Celebrity about this program.

We just did our weekly shopping and there was no steak in our grocery order.  We have steak at home maybe 3-4 times a year and I don't have photos of them. 😉  Maybe they will get a picture of the crab cakes we make for V-day.    Then let's see if they "deny" the PUP.
