I sprained my ankle three weeks ago and it is not healed yet. Doing exercises to strengthen it. Ivi After the swelling went down, I realized it was my foot I hurt. I finally went to the doctor this week and it appears to be a foot sprain (nothing broken). You are right - it does take awhile to heal! I am still limping along. Ugh. I hope you are feeling better! I remember visiting Corfu, Crete, Delos, Mykonos, Santorini, and one or two others. I no longer have photos or documents from that trip, only fading memories. I guess they would have excavated more of it in those 40-50 years too so it probably looks quite different now.

Has interesting maritime histories (e.g. military, trade, emigration, Titanic). Cork day trips tend to visit Blarney Castle and/or Midleton distillery.
rafinmd Posted August 25, 2020 #418 Share Posted August 25, 2020 Today's sunrise photo comes from my 2010. Grand Alaska and Panama trip. On August 25 the Symphony was approaching Bimini as the sun came up. Roy
rafinmd Posted August 26, 2020 #419 Share Posted August 26, 2020 A few days ago I posted a sunrise in Saint John, NB. This is from the same trip. After Saint John I traveled by train to Montreal and dropped in on my cousin about 20 miles to the south. This sunrise was taken from his farm, the family homestead since the 1850's. rafinmd Posted August 27, 2020 #420 Share Posted August 27, 2020 For all my cruising I have never caught a sunrise while at sea on August 27. I took my walk early this morning as the sun came up above my downtown lakefront. Roy

BWIVince Posted August 28, 2020 #422 Share Posted August 28, 2020 That’s one of my favorite places, Roy! The developer’s old office building was one of my favorite headquarters-type campus. It’s funny to think of it as a supermarket now. Vince

Vince The space between Whole Foods and the lakefront entry is now being developed by the county as a mini kids playground. Today's sunrise is from the same trip as the photo from my cousin's farm. The train from Montreal arrives in New York too late to effectively allow a reliable connection to Baltimore and rather than spend the night in New York I got off a couple hours earlier in Poughkeepsie. This sunrise is from Poughkeepsie: Roy
