Are there any shops or places near port of Barcelona?

To the OP.

Who knows what travel will be like next year, however in MHO, if you have travelled all of the way across the Atlantic, Barcelona deserves more than just a glance at the tourist shops and a coffee.

I am not the biggest fan of ship tours, but if you have mobility issues you are not going to have a great day wandering Las Ramblas or jumping in and out of taxis or trying to find the HOHO bus.  This is a time that I think the ship tour will be your best option.  Take a scenic tour that includes seeing the Sagrada Familia, other Gaudi buildings and the wonders Barcelona has to offer.
