Now that Sovereign and Monarch are gone.......

is there something from the ships that you wish you had? Like a collectible or a keepsake?  Does anyone have something from these ships or other ships that are now gone?  

I was able to get the actual cabin numbers from my VERY FIRST cruise AND mine and my husband's first cruise together after the ship was "recycled".  (Different cruise line.)

I also have a Monarch crystal block that I will not sell.  I wish that I also had one from the Sovereign.  Yes, the Sovereign had blocks for about 12 months (07-08) before she left Royal.

I got my Sovereign from JD's wife. Traded her for a Radiance. She was putting together a set from all the ships John worked on.

I was lined up to get my coveted Radiance block but with all the cancels/reschedules it looks like Quantum will be the next one we get 😞

I lucked out when I got my Majesty block in March.  If cruising had stopped one week earlier, I would not have a Majesty block.  Now with the two sister ships are being scrapped, who knows when and if the Majesty will sail again.

Monarch’s AIS transponder went silent Sunday (7/26) and Sovereign’s AIS transponder went silent today (7/30).  Their heartbeats have gone silent.  What will now happen to Majesty?

In the early years of RCCL each passenger received a VERY large stem glass (imagine huge red wine stem) during the maiden voyages with the ship’s name and date; I still have Song of Norway, Nordic Prince, Sun Viking, etc. Passengers also received glass ashtrays or glassware sets as souvenirs with the crown and anchor. I have these as well. Another unique piece was a diamond/platinum crown and anchor pendant designed by the original owners for the 10th anniversary celebration and only about a dozen were made and gifted.
