Ooops wrong  quote again.sorry. How do you delete a post when it's wrong ?

You can’t delete posts. No idea why.

Best is to edit out the text and leave the empty box. But you only have a few minutes to do that before the post is locked.

Lucky Bay

Cape Le Grand NP

Esperance, WA.

I thought I had a photo from that spot without the kangaroos (12/2019), but could not find it.

I forgot about this. I was going to hint it was just down the road from Stonehenge.

You are indeed correct, and it is over to you.

We spent a very memorable day there in November 2015 (? year) for a port call on Pacific Eden's inaugural cruise from Fremantle to the 5 ships in Sydney harbour. Memorable for the beauty of the national park, and also for a day of disaster. A fire was burning in the national park, and our tour was told to get out ASAP, and they closed the gates behind us. I believe there was a couple of fatalities that afternoon, and we returned to a long queue at a smoky pier that was having a lot of trouble getting tenders back to the ship safely. The staff at the local cafe were absolute angels that afternoon, and one of the reasons we want to get back to Esperance again.

My wife and I were there on, IIRC, Radiance OTS. We left the day the fire started and could just see smoke in the distance. Stonehenge was very interesting. I emember it being a very hot day. We bought an ice cream each and they were melting almost faster than we could eat them.
