This may be a little tougher, although the HAL cruisers on CC have been a LOT of places.  Maasdam is anchored in the lagoon of a tender port.  Which one?

We were there last year (not on a cruise) and the setting, especially the lower road along the harbour (harbor for my American friends) is still pretty fresh in my mind.

Not Mystery Island, which we missed because of weather.  We've been several places in Fiji, but this wasn't one of them.

 

Hint -- think further east than all the guesses so far.  What I remember most was the stark quality of the bright, white sunlight that day.

 

BTW, DW asked why I was checking my computer every 20 minutes or so, and when I explained, she said, "Oh, so basically you are playing Pictures With Friends."  Well, when you think about it, yeah.

I'm not sure about the French Polynesia bit, but not Rangiroa.  To paraphrase Crosby Stills and Nash in "Southern Cross" by the time we hit this port, we had already done the "downhill run to Papeete", and when we left this port, we found that "off the wind on this heading lie the Marquesas."

Nope, a bit of misdirection on my part.  We did miss Mystery Island, but on a different cruise than on the one I took the photo of Maasdam in the lagoon.  BTW, here is a photo of Maasdam I took from the top of the peak in Dravuni Island:
