Anti cruising group

I recently read where there is a anti cruising group called Stand.earth who have been asking for people to comment to the CDC regarding extending the cruise ban.  Am very curious how this will work out.  Here is the link to the Stand.earth group: https://www.stand.earth/SubmitCommentToCDC

It appears that RCL is aware of this group as I'm sure the other cruiselines are as well:  https://www.foxnews.com/travel/royal-caribbean-anticruise-cdc-comments-coronavirus

I'm hoping cruising will begin soon but it looks like the cruiselines have a fight ahead.

I'd be interested in knowing how many more people weighed in on the CDC's No Sail Order, the public comment period ends today. I voiced my vote last week.

In this case they are off message and are going to be ignored.   The CDC is asking for input on the virus.  It is not the place of the CDC to decide if a cruise ship benefit to society exceeded its impact on the environment.

They do have a valid concern, however a public health agency is the one to take the environment concern into consideration.

In a country of over 300,000,000 it would not be too hard to get 50,000 to agree to almost anything.

These zealots can say whatever they want.  Fact is, in order for the cruise industry overall to survive, they'll sail....regardless of any group who doesn't want them to.  Case closed.

CDC is such a mess now, with people quitting and those who are in charge having no authority anyway.  Take any petition to the CDC to be taken with a grain of salt.

Ships are already starting to sail again.  So much for any petitions to the contrary.
