Last time I was on QM2, they did a treasure hunt to find where a number of pictures were taken.

 

I thought, maybe we could test our knowledge of the ships so here is an example.  Where was this picture taken?

Obviously the globe in the library, but which ship?  QM2's library has different bookshelf doors, if I recall correctly.  So either QV or QE.  I'll go with QE - I think that's QE carpeting.  Although I remember the globe being closer to the deck 2 doorway entrance, rather than near the deck 2 travel books.  Maybe the librarian moves it around.

That is indeed the globe in the library on QE.

This is QE in the main Britannia dining room.  QV's equivalent is a large metal globe, if I recall correctly.

Yes the QV. They don't have them on the QE. Are they really comfy? They don't look it and they are huge.

I found them quite nice.  Not something to lie back in and have a snooze, but a good place to read or have a coffee, and enjoy the sea views.

It is, we had the table for 2 for lunch one day so I have photos from many strange angles ! It's lovely isn't it ?
