Just Back From Maine -- Sailing on the Schooner Stephen Taber

If there's a cruise that we can sail, you can bet that Cruise Critic will find a way to be on it.

Here's our first report from last week's sailing on Stephen Taber, a 22-passenger schooner that does three-to-six night cruises out of Rockland, Maine. The captain instituted some pretty strict health and safety protocols. The ship is one of two that he owns, and they are the only cruise ships (to our knowledge) sailing in the U.S. right now.

Have a read!

We did a cruise on the Lewis R French which is the oldest ship carrying passengers still still sailing.  She was build in 1871 - look her up on Wikipedia.  It was one of the best cruises (if you want to call a trip on a 22 passenger ship a cruise) that I have ever taken.  Beats any of the current multi-thousand passengers ships that everyone seems to love by many miles.   You should try her.
