pierces Posted October 26, 2020 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2020 Pictures taken between Monday, October 26 and Sunday, November 1. Rules: See above That's it. This isn't a contest. All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising). Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize. The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays. Post one. Post many. Up to you. Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others! geochic Posted November 2, 2020 #9 Share Posted November 2, 2020 To celebrate my B-day my hubby and me went to Northwest Trek (a type of zoo). We saw a lot more activity from the animals then we saw than the last time visited.
pierces Posted November 2, 2020 Author #10 Share Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) Hallowe'en 2020. Since the rules in California concerning gatherings and such change like the weather, we were not sure whether we were supposed to do anything or nothing. We tossed a coin and had a small group for dinner and limited trick or treating at our daughter's house. It went well. The highlight, as usual, was daughter Kassi’s efforts towards making her kids’ costume dreams come true. Jackie wanted to be Cruella De Vil and Matthew wanted to be the velociraptor trainer from Jurassic Park. I sometimes wish I had her talent for the artistic but then people would always be asking me to do artsy stuff for them as is her fate. Still, I can admire her skill and use my penchant for taking pictures to share her talent with others. Boo-tiful job, Kassi! zackiedawg Posted November 4, 2020 #11 Share Posted November 4, 2020 The weekly wildlife from the wetlands here in Florida...which have been decidedly WET lately, and due to get even wetter this weekend: Great blue heron with a very large fish catch: Green iguana sitting up for a view over the tall grass: A very very tiny bird, the blue-grey gnatcatcher - similar in size to a hummingbird, but flies and moves like most warblers/perching birds: An even smaller baby tree frog - all of 2/3" in length: A male red-winged blackbird challenging me on the rail as I tried to walk by: A lovely little palm warbler, returned to Florida for the winter:
