Renewing Passport when traveling is not encouraged

Every time a new post pops up on this thread - I think "Oh no - I have to check our expiration dates..."  The good news is, by now, my next thought is - no need to check, they're good until 2026...

I am 79 and hubby is 80. Our advice..renew passports ..It is better to have them and not need them than to need them and not have them. Travel as much as you can while you can. We have missed a lot of travel because of covid the past two years. We intend to make up for it as soon as the restrictions loosen up a bit (hopefully) . We have three cruises planned for the future. Our days of jumping off of catamarans to snorkel are over but still intend to enjoy what we can still do.
