Yep. I have not gotten notice yet, but I just looked at Feb 2021 and the only departure port showing is Buenos Aires.

We'll see how long it takes them to tell me my Feb Apex isn't happening. 😞 I'd hope sooner than later so I can make alternate plans.

If you have an urgent need to make other plans, don't wait. There is no way that sailing is happening.

I have a couple of casino freebies booked.  The next up is Jan 11, 5 night...and no notice yet from Celebrity that is cancelled.  BUT, my grandaughter's log in showed the cruise as sailed with points a few days ago when I set her account up for the app access.  Mine still showed as sailing.  Of course, the expectation was it would cancel...but as of this am, no OFFICIAL notice, which is necessary to apply FCC's to the next up.

I have the potential replacement freebie booked for July on Equinox.  We rec'd casino offers that said we would need to book after MAY 22nd  for these.  Based on that, my expectation is that anything before MAY is probably not going to sail. And I also thought...between now and then, Lord Willing, if we cancel the July, then there is always Apex in Nov/Dec...

Additionally, as these are Blue Chip Club Casino port/tax/fees only trips that are refunded (except additional pmt for 13yo)...it looks like if you pay for a 3rd pax, you get credit for the sailing in that cabin if it is cancelled. Along with the FCC for that person.

Now for the JULY sailing on Equinox... it shows in my web account as a viable sailing, but the only extras you can purchase as of now are the spa junk.  No bev pkgs, no shore exc, no specialty dining.  Hmmm....

Just FYI's.

UPDATE:  12/2 10:37am before finishing post... the notification via text is here. Officially cancelled. Now to get that airfare credit redone AGAIN, which was the reason for the initial trip...use it by date.

FYI.  We had booked the Summitt for Feb 27th non-refundable. Balance was due this past Sunday November 30th. I did not want to pay the balance and have to wait for the full refund, so I waited it out.  I figured they had to cancel, no way was it sailing and I wouldn’t go anyway.  I just contacted my travel agent and we will be receiving the deposit back.  I’m glad they did that, I suppose they could have given me FCC or lift and shift. Going by their contract rules, they didn’t have to do this. Kudos to Celebrity, hope to sail in the future, just not sure when 😢

Just got the email. 😞

I was offered the 125% FCC or a refund. I selected refund.

Like clock work. Someone in another thread predicted today as the day the cancellation for January would rolling out.

The expected next round of cancellations seems to be happening today. Just got the official notice for our January 4 Reflection booking. Lift/Shift options are terrible so we're taking the 125%.

BOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS Dear Guest, We are reaching out to provide an update on the status of your 2021 cruise vacation. As the world continues to work towards a new normal, our primary goal continues to be a healthy return to service for our guests, crew and the communities we visit. While working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other local health and government authorities towards this shared goal, we are evaluating all current itineraries to ensure compliance with the new Conditional Sail Order. At this time, Celebrity Cruises will be suspending global operations for all sailings departing on or before February 28, 2021, as well as our remaining Winter 2020/21 season in South America. Unfortunately, this suspension will require cancellation of your upcoming cruise vacation. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes as we value your vacation time and want to ensure you have the best experience possible on a Celebrity Cruise. At this time, we would like to offer you the opportunity to be re-accommodated on another Celebrity Cruise vacation or to receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit (FCC) or a 100% Refund. From now through December 16, you have the option of keeping your cruise vacation plans to the same destination and rescheduling for next year on a date within four weeks of your originally scheduled departure. Just contact us or your travel partner and your reservation will be shifted at the same rate including any promotion you currently have on the booking. If you are unable to rebook by December 16, you will automatically receive a 125% FCC valid for use on sailings through May 4, 2022. The value of the FCC will be calculated based on the amounts paid toward your cruise and will be processed by January 15, 2021 via email. Cruise taxes and fees will be refunded separately to your original form of payment within 30 days of cancellation. No action is required on your part to receive this FCC. Please note, when redeeming your Future Cruise Credit, only one FCC may be applied per person, per reservation. If you prefer a 100% refund to your original method of payment, as opposed to the FCC, you may contact us anytime up until March 31, 2021. To avoid waiting on the phone to cancel, please contact your travel partner or click here and we will get the process started for you. You can expect to receive a refund within at least 30 days after you submit your request. Cruise taxes and fees will be refunded separately. Please note, if you have already cancelled your sailing by taking advantage of our Cruise With Confidence policy you will not be eligible to receive the compensation noted above. If you choose to accept a Future Cruise Credit, and have pre-booked any shore excursions, beverage, internet, specialty dining or other onboard packages, through Celebrity Cruises, you will have the option of receiving 125% Onboard Credit (OBC) to be used on your next sailing, or you may choose a 100% refund. In order to select the 125% Onboard Credit please click here to submit your request. If we have not received your choice of compensation for these pre-booked items by December 16, these charges will automatically be refunded in full to your original method of payment and will show up as a separate transaction. Guests with independent shore excursion arrangements should contact their tour operators as soon as possible. Guests with air travel and hotel booked through Flights by Celebrity will be refunded automatically. You will not need to call in to initiate the process. Guests with independent air arrangements need to contact their air carriers directly to make all required cancellations. First and always, please take care of yourselves and your family. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these unique circumstances. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Celebrity Cruises at 1-844-418-6824 in North America or (316) 554-5961 worldwide. We look forward to welcoming you aboard soon for an amazing Celebrity Cruises vacation. Sincerely, Celebrity Cruises

Just got the same email canceling our Jan Constellation cruises out of Tampa.  Debating whether to use FCC on our September 2021 cruises from Vancouver and around Japan.  Not sure of all the risks as the 125% leaves us with $ on the table.  We are in a sky suite so prem drinks, etc. already.  Can it be used for excursions?  What happens if one or both are canceled?  So many questions.  Guess I need to call TA.

You should read the FAQ for Suspended Sailings.  It will have the answers to most of your questions.

Just received notice Celebrity implemented a global suspension through February 28.  Longer for South America.  Glad they finally made a decision as we were nervous about our fully paid Jan 25 ABCs cruise.  Already called for a refund.

now it’s a wait and see concerning our May 7 Alaska 9 night on Eclipse.  Not holding high hopes since its over 7 nights and is round trip Vancouver.

Not surprising- they have figure out new voyages- which adhere to the new rules. So they have to start from scratch so to speak. If cruising is happening before March-  they come up with new destinations and voyages.

I think the main problem is what's happening in the world today. Granted, deaths are way down but all the other stats, such as hospitalization,  are at, or near all time highs. In AZ, more schools are going back to remote learning. More pro, and college sports are being cancelled or rescheduled and most of them don't allow any, or in some cases greatly reduced fans.

If and when cruising tries to start up, they will be under a microscope, and in this current situation, they probably feel the chance of passing is slim. If they would fail, that could be the end of cruising as we know it. If it last through the middle of March it will be one year without actual paying customers, all their getting is interest free loans.

Our Alaska cruise is in August 2021. 3 out of 4 of us are over 65 and will likely have vaccine by then, but one person is under 65 and may not. I wonder if they will let all 4 cancel or Lift & Shift?

There's no relationship between your vaccine availability status and your ability to cancel or L&S your cruise. While I don't think that you can L&S at this point to August 2022, you can certainly cancel and rebook at a later date.

That said, there's still lots of time before final payment, and in your shoes I'd take no action now. By late Spring, you'll have a much better idea of the likelihood that you'll all be vaccinated, and what Celebrity's related requirements will be.

I think it is for the best. Not surprised. Some wishful thinking on our end that our mid-January 2021 sailing would happen. Just worked on the lift and shift option so we will look forward to sailing on Edge in January 2022!

Let's talk about this.  We have a cruise booked for the end of July. A 12 night Brittish Isles out of Amsterdam on Reflection w/ a final due date in May. I doubt this cruise wlll occur so.... what are the advantages or disadvantages if I cancel before due date or I pay at due date and then wait for Celebrity to cancel?

We would take the money by cancelling  before final payment. Unless you have a penalty....

" Keeping the dream alive " could be costly!

No guarantees of a similar Lift and Shift and who needs to have another FCC at any amount that you may not get to use.  ????

Money in your bank acct trumps having to work around their rules to get it back...

Sad..great itin!

Most of the experts I have heard state that everyone who wants one will be able to get a vaccine by mid-summer.  So fingers crossed August will be a go (and that is even assuming they will require a vaccine or proof of antibodies to sail - I think they will but no one knows yet)

If no cruises longer than 7 days why did my credit card get charged  for final payment for a11day March 8th cruise. Just happened today. How hard can it be to cancel cruise that definitely won't happen?

I feel your pain.  I have a 9 night late April cruise.  I am hoping that rather than flat out cancelling all these cruises they may modify them and give you the option of sailing or not.  A huge endeavor for them, I know, but it could happen for some of them.  Unfortunately the longer the cruise the harder it will be for them to accommodate that type of change.

The Pfizer vaccine was given approval in the UK today.
X2 shots, 3 weeks apart and you should be protected 4 weeks after your first shot.

Now its wait and see when I will be called. I am in the clinically vulnerable category who are 3 rd in the queue:

1st Residents in Care homes and the care home workers

2nd Health Care workers and the over 80’s

75-79 year olds & the Clinically vulnerable( I’m in this category x2).
