Can I make this Flight?

Recommended Posts

Sure, it's doable, but not wise.

I'd suggest self assist debarking, Uber or Lyft and hope for the best.

On a perfect day with no delays it's doable but if one thing goes wrong you'll be trying to get on a later flight.

I wouldn’t trust any past experiences with making flights, until cruising has resumed and we know what kind of delays there may be in disembarking.

⬆️ all day long for the time being.

Great advise water ski bum, the ports may have a staggered schedule, PLUS, the airports are not crowded now, but if there are several ships in port that day, the airport scene may also be more staggered, perhaps it could take a little longer to navigate to your gate.

At one time there was talk about having all returning passengers needing to take and have a negative covid test. Who knows what the debarking process may be like. Wouldn't book any return flight that can't be changed at this point.

As of right now no one even knows just how long it will take to disembark or even if we'll be able to fly home same day.

If I can't get home the same day then I won't be cruising.

We are on the Symphony of the Seas on November 20, 2021.  I was getting ready to book a return flight from Miami to Atlanta at 10:15 am.  Is this doable?

Here’s the timeline from our Symphony voyage for our 10:30 flight. I would take a regular, waiting taxi vs waiting and finding an Uber in the disembarkation chaos.

Disembarkation Notes:

5:30 Breakfast at Windjammers

6:50 Left Stateroom for the last time

7:03 Swipe off the Ship

7:09 Down the gangway, through the terminal, down stairs, through the baggage hall and at the entrance to Customs

7:16 In a taxi to the airport

7:30 At MIA
