We are (hopefully!) getting married onboard Azura in July and we were considering booking the Epicurean for the evening.

What is everyone’s opinion of this restaurant? Would it make for a nice Post wedding dinner?

There are 8 of us. How big is the restaurant?

Or would you suggest something different?

I am sure they will provide you with that extra special pampered service, especially after your wedding, and the food is generally very good. The restaurant can hold about 8 tables indoors, and  it also has a similar number outdoors, and they can probably accommodate you all on the largest circular table.

Congratulations on your planned wedding. What are you planning for the wedding food after the ceremony as Epicurean can often be the venue for that as a private function.

There are more than 8 tables inside the venue (I eat there almost every night of every cruise) but not many/any specifically for 8. They will be able to do that without a problem joining tables it just depends on when you want to eat and when you book. They pull out all the stops for a wedding there have been quite a few that I have seen. Outside they could do it but if it rains they then have to move you inside - seen that happen a few times. Not so hard but more complex when its an 8 rather than the usual smaller group.

They will do a great event for you - enjoy.

Congratulations, and good luck with the planning.

The Epicurean would be perfect for any celebration!  Wonderful food and service, more in line with a Michelin starred restaurant than anything else.

Eight could be accommodated very easily with slight rearrangement of the tables, which I’m sure they’d be more than happy to do.

Can’t recommend it highly enough. One of the greatest pleasures on Azura and Ventura in our book.

Congratulations!

I agree that Epicurean would give you an occasion (rather than just a meal) to remember.  Service is spot on - attentive without being obtrusive - and the menu is varied enough to (hopefully) suit everyone

Thank you all for your lovely comments and for taking the time to help! Think we are going to do it and treat our families. Like someone said above, makes for a memorable dinner by the sounds of it!
