The new owners may or may not have different views as well I suppose.
 

Just don’t give any of the other vessels less substantial work even closer to their current home aka Ferguson/Upper Clyde.....there’s a four years late car ferry cluttering up the Clyde and a litter of public inquiries and litigation whilst the Herbrides wait....and wait

Things of course change. I got the impression there was more to it than purely location of the shipyard. I'd really like them to be used again. I spent quite a bit of time with Brian McConville and his lovely wife at the Pursuit naming ceremony. He's a real character!  Time will tell what happens.

Possibly a bigger problem will be dry dock time, there seems to be a backlog of ships requiring a mandatory dry dock examination before they can return to service. On top of this there’s the poor paintwork condition of many of the ships that will have spent over a year basically floating about, it’s going to take more than a guy with a paint roller to get them acceptable to fare paying passengers.
