Guest Posted May 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2004 There is a menu posted outside the dining room every day. Not as large of variety as dinner, but good.
momofmeg Posted May 2, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I found the stuff in the bistro pretty decent but I did dine in the dinningroom 2 or 3 times. Once it was a buffet and about the same quality as the bistro. (Brazierre I think they called it-up on the Lido) The other days it had nicer things more like dinner but not as many courses. One thing that was hiliarius to me is my daughter ordered anitpasto. When she rceived it it had a little baby squid on it and she lost her appetite wouldn't touch the salad. It was too funny because normally at home about as upscale as we get when going to an Italian restaurant is Olive Garden and there are no squid in the antippasto there. Don't think she will order that on a cruise again. We are spending 2 days pre cruise in Tampa. And these lunch menus sound great. Thanks everyone... Jen and Ray's First Cruise together. Orcrone Posted May 3, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 3, 2004 The Brassiere can be a bit more convenient, but I enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food in the main dining room a lot better for lunch (dinner and breakfast too). 1/1990 - RCCL Song of America 4/13/2003 - Carnival Inspiration 10/30/2004 - Maasdam
tef43 Posted May 3, 2004 #9 Share Posted May 3, 2004 The dining room certainly *is* open for lunch on port days. Tom <--- Curmudgeon of the Seas Eleven cruises so far. Up next: Shhhh, it's a surprise! And then: Carnival Spirit 12/10/05 Mexican Riviera Perhaps something else in the works as well. Watch this space. PINEVIEW01 Posted May 3, 2004 #10 Share Posted May 3, 2004 We went to the dinning room on the first port day. But, they had a buffet. So, as you had to stand in line anyway, we at on the Lido the other three port days Melody Paradise, 9-5-04 Holiday, 4-10-04 Inspiration, 11-30-03 Inspiration, 1-26-03 Victory,3-31-02 Sensation, 11-28-98 Holiday, 3-19-
