Laundry and Internet

Which lines include laundry , internet and gratuities? Or does it come out about the same  whether it's included ( you pay uofront) or you do it as you go?

 

Is Crystal the only one that includes alcohol?

Regent includes everything you have listed.

We did the WC2017 and loved it. We are also booked on the WC2013, which I think is pretty well sold out.

Viking includes 

• Laundry - Suites get free laundry, pressing service from the ship's laundry. Other cabins have free self-service machines that also include the soap
• Wi-Fi - all cabin have included wi-fi access, limited to 2 devices at any given time. Although Satellite based, the bandwidth is reasonable
• Gratuities - included
• All beverages are included - alcohol up to $15 per drink is included. All specialty teas/coffees are included. They provide filtered drinking water twice per day in the cabins (so not overly chlorinated). When heading ashore they also provide free bottles of water.

Premium/luxury Lines have higher base fare costs, as many, or all of these items are included. While I can only compare the daily cost of the total cruise between Princess and Viking, with Viking being slightly cheaper, per day. You would have to request similar cost comparisons for other lines.

 

You also have other significant cost drivers to consider:

• Visas - depending on the number of Visas required, the cost can be many hundreds of dollars. Does the cruise line provide complimentary Visa service.
• Flights - does the cruise line include flights, preferably First/Business
• Transfers - are pre/post transfers included
• Baggage shipping - is pre/post baggage shipping included
• Shore-ex - does the cruise line provide any included tours in each port and what are the cost of non-included tours
