I'm wondering....at the top of the PE webcam page, it says you can send a request for sail away.  Have any of you done this?

 

(not that we are sailing anywhere yet, but....)

I've done it a time or 2.   Unfortunately, the time on the Koningsdam the banner I said I would have was in the bag that wasn't delivered until sailaway but @65 Gator still found me.

Yes, I have. On our last cruise, we were the only ones who had requested a wave - so the PEV camera was on us for much of the time.

Yes, we've done it a few times and our friends back home on the "frozen tundra" could see us waving like mad at the camera.  You have to tell them where you'll be, and if there's anything outstanding (like a flag or all wearing the same shirts, etc.) so the camera people can easily spot you.

I'm back... nobody took a picture?   Sounds like it was a nice sail away.  

 

We have "requested  a wave" a few times.  Then I get a DD to take screenshots, or you can get a video from PTZ.
