Aft facing cabins.

• It's a personal choice. We love them and try to get fat cabin when available. Pricing is also a consideration.

If available we love to book them.  There is something calming about viewing and hearing the wake of the ship.  The thrusters don't bother us because we should be up and around at that time anyway.

We only book aft cabins too for the same reasons others have already posted.  My favorites:  QUIET area with no foot traffic like mid-ship area, balcony usable in most weather (no wind), and LOVE the wake view 🙂

Us too for the same reason --on the Island Princess promenade deck.

It is a long way to walk to everywhere for some. But I love to walk and I love the view. So worth it.

Many thanks to all who have replied. We usually book, mid ships balcony cabins but am now looking forward to our aft facing cabin...even if it is 2023 !!

On Sky Princess can the suite aft balconies be overlooked?   
with no ports of call we will spend more time in the cabin .. hopefully the weather will be kind and we will use the balcony more. 🙏🏻

We had D727 on the Royal which was very sheltered.  You had to be at the rail to be looked down on.
