Anyone been to  a nice bar within short distance from  honolulu cruise port, taxi or walking ,to watch sunset and have a nice cocktail

Not walking distance (you are sort of in an industrial area by the port itself and views of sunset are a bit hampered by the island with the Coast Guard base right behind you in the harbor) but jump in an Uber and head over to Waikiki Beach-- about a 10 min quick drive. 

 

The Mai Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian or the beach bar at the Moana Surfrider a few doors down are sunset favorites. The sun usually sets just to the left of the Sheraton tower when you are at either location.

For sunset cocktails it is hard to beat The House Without A Key at Halekulani.

Not for sunset, but I would als olook the La Mariana Sailing Club, the last of the old tiki bars in Hawaii.
