Why Adventure?

We were on the Adventure and found it fair at best.  We sail in a suite and the perks on the Adventure are sub par.  Missing many of the bells and whistles, suite deck, restaurant and real lounge.  Has a makeshift lounge for suite guests.  Cabins need updating.

Sailed on Adventure in 2019 from Port Liberty and agreed no suite deck or restaurant but enjoyed the suite lounge especially the outdoor seating area.

It was never part of the old DL. the DL has always been in the starboard side of the crown. They took the old card and game room in the port side of the crown and created the SL. It looked quite nice to me.

Have you ever been on the harmony?  Big difference

When we sailed, it was much to hot

Yes.  It was a makeshift area , seemed like an area that was for another purpose, with a portable bar. Nothing like oasis class. The ship also had outdoor seating for suite guests in full sun in a theater type rows.  Had breakfast in the specialty italian restaurant.  Was very disappointing

For a non Oasis/Quantum ship, it does pretty good for suite pax

Absolutely, but Harmony has Royal Suite Class and a corresponding price tag 😉

Same could be said for an Oasis suite deck. Depends on weather. Nice thing about Adventure is it's attached to the SL vs on the other end of the ship with limited access for disabled passengers.

And people say I'm contrary.🤣🤣

Royal is really not doing a great job in maintaining the cabins in the older ships. Overall Adventure is in good shape however the bathrooms are in need to be fully replaced, especially in the Suites. Assuming the Voyager and and Radiance Class are going to be around for another 10 years or so a full Cabin Refurbishment including bathrooms would have been a must. Let's hope in future RCL will focus more on such details than only adding more and more cabins at each drydock. After COVID RCL would be better off to incrase prices by 10% and offer a bit more space than overcramped ships.

Anything that has SL on the door is a plus. 😇

I did not say that there is not a big difference. However, I think RCI did a good job with the space they had to work with. That is often the case when things are retrofitted as opposed to in the original design.

And my first time on Harmony will be next April, at least that is the plan as of today.

RCI is doing a pretty good job of increasing pricing without adding more public space.

Oasis has shade and some free cabanas on the suite deck. Also nice bar.  Adventure has no suite deck.  Also no suite restaurant. When we sailed on the adventure, our owners suite was under pool deck.  They were doing maintenance in the middle of the night on the suite deck, sounded like a air hammer.  It was horrible and woke us up.  The suite concierge was nice about it and gave us nice compensation.  Which we applied to a harmony cruise

Speaking of doors, the doors on these new V/F SL's create an awful wind tunnel if the outside door opens at the same time.

Didn't you confirm Adventure has the tiered reserve seating overlooking an actual pool.

Padded loungers, private access, and between two bars. But whose counting😇

We're discussing the SL on Adventure, though.

You should try an A1 if you get the chance.

Fabulous oceanview balcony, plus STAR perks

Could be a challenge to properly staff an Oasis class ship for all the entertainment and activities that take place on them

Larger crews would also mean a bigger potential for outbreak among the staff or more widespread outbreak among the staff?

True.  That is why we have put off any cruising until 2022.  Planning other vacations now
