We booked a 14 day repositioning cruise on the Carnival Pride.  This will be our first 14 day cruise.  Questions - Food:  Do they repeat meals or are there different meals everyday?  Entertainment - Are the shows repeated or again - different shows?  The limit on wine is one bottle per person for a seven day -0 is it 2 bottles because it is a 14 day?  How many elegant nights?  Any and all comments are welcomed.  Thank you.

Carnival has a 7 day set menu. They dont have a 14 day menu, so I'd expect the 7 day to be repeated, and double elegant nights, so 4 not 2 etc. Too expensive to have cast learn another show, should just be repeated as well.

The menu might have some meals offered from the region your repo cruise visits. The shows are done twice a day,. Never seen a show repeated on all our 14 day plus cruises. Carnival does not consider the length of the cruise, one bottle of wine per person per cruise. We mainly only do 14 day cruises, repos or B2Bs. 7 day cruises go by much to fast, just as you get settled in the cruise is half over. If you like cruising you should like the repo cruise. Sea days are so relaxing, especially if you are cruising in a tropical region.

Based on several Journeys cruises, 14 or more days we have taken - they do not just use their 7 day menus twice.  The menus will be different every night, but some entrees will be repeated.  They resurrect some menu items from the old menus that were discontinued when they changed to the American Table menu.

Each night's entertainment will be different.  They bring fly-on entertainers to fill in the extra days.  There may be one or two nights without entertainment, typically if the departure from port is late.

There will be two elegant nights plus a Captain's formal night on the throw back sea day.  On the Captain's formal night, they will have the Grand Gala midnight buffet as in the old days.

They typically bring on a guest lecturer who will have five different lectures during the cruise and instructor(s) for ballroom dancing classes to have extra activities during the sea days.
