Downtown Syndey to White Bay.

Staying in downtown district for a week prior to cruise out of White Bay.....what is the fastest , cheapest way to get there.   Uber taxi ferry bus????

Probably Uber, they tend to be cheaper than taxis. 

 

There has been a ferry service in the past but whether that will recommence we don't know. Plus you would have to get from your hotel to the ferry wharf at Barangaroo.

 

I don't think there is a bus service to White Bay.

I look at bus site. If we walk up to QVB we can get on the 442 line direct to terminal. Short walk for one of the stops.

The only access to the White Bay Cruise Terminal is along Robert Street, the walk from the bus stop is about 1.3 km, not easy if pulling luggage. Looking at street view on Google maps, there is not a footpath almost to the entrance to the port. None of the side streets have access to the port. Much easier to get an uber or taxi.
