So based on the discussion of free parking for the 2nd week of a B2B, you must pay when you go in and there is no exit barrier

Correct, either to save money on a gate attendant or to speed up departure. No idea. But it's been that way even when they sailed of T10

John.

Would you recommend having 1 night in a PC hotel with parking included for a short cruise and get hotel transfers.

If so which hotel?.

We used to stay at Raddison, they had parking included. No idea now.

FWIW, tons of new hotels in Cape Canaveral. They're even building another now.

I've heard the elevators are very slow in the terminal parking and that it's better to drop off the luggage prior to parking the car.  Opinions?

The elevators really aren't that slow.  But it is best to drop off luggage and the rest of your party on the ground floor.  Then only the driver has to use the elevator or just take the stairs.

I’ve never done that.  It’s just DH and me, 2 bags with wheels.  It takes both of us to remember where the car is after the cruise.  If I dropped him and bags off, I can just imagine the “discussion “ afterwards while I’m trying to find the car.  Not a good way to end a vacation and start an 8 hour drive home.

I always take a photo of where my car is in a large or unfamiliar parking area.  Section/row.  Makes finding it later very easy.
