I suspect everyone is REALLY grateful that you're giving up your time to answer any questions, so in that vein........... is the swimming pool restricted in numbers? probably not with this current weather but lets pretend it's 30C outside!!

Enjoy your holiday and thanks again for allowing us to ask questions. Much appreciated.

Don’t think you get is as not sure that these are 5% plus cruises. Merely 5% discount.

The 5% + 5% with €50 was an offer on MSC Web page through the Voyages Club section at the bottom of the page the discounts got showed at time of booking and obc added

Yes there are limits on numbers / family units. Pools heated to 29 and jacuzzis to 38. Tried the jacuzzis outdoors and they are great. Think the pools are a little chilly. Didn’t try the indoor areas as of all the parts of the ship is it’s the busiest and least tidy. Guess that depends on when you hit it.

Are there aft lifts? Our cabin is near the stern and on the deck plans it looks like there are lifts nearby but they’re not marked as such. I’m hoping so otherwise it’s a bit of a trek from the midship lifts lol.

Thank you so much for answering everyone’s questions whilst on your cruise, it is very much appreciated. I will try to do the same for folks next week when I’m on the ship.

Our cabin is approx 6 from the back of the ship.

Its a LONG walk to the lifts!!!

I find it extremely sad you feel the need to comment on someone's body size. As for the comedian I'm not a fan myself . However I'm pretty sure he's on that many times so everyone who wants to watch gets the chance. I'm certain there is other things going on at the certain time.  I'm so glad they are actually still doing some of the shows in Italian and not lossing their Italian feel altogether.

The reason I mention it is because these are professional performers and the image they portray reflects on their "brand".

They, or the people around them, should know better and give them honest advice.

And it wasn't just the larger lady who looked hideous in the outfit, all 3 of them did.

Im obese myself and Im quite aware of what I can or cant wear.

My sequin minidresses are no more - mainly because my wife says NO lol

Thanks for all the info, it's making our countdown even more exciting.

Stu, you mentioned you are Diamond, do you still get the meal in Speciality restaurant and if so please can you post any menus?

Yes you do. It’s a fixed tasting menu. If you want something not on that you pay 50% of the item.

Just thought Id mention the Main Dining Room food.

As you can see from the Menus posted by Stu, the choice is not huge.

But the quality is very good.

You will want to order a side of veg with each main course as there is hardly anything that comrs wirh each actual dish.

Dining is 6pm to 9pm and open - right to around 6.30pm you will get a "window table" if you want one.

Thankfully they are leaving every other table empty - which is good because the tables for two habe exactly 2 inches between them (I really hate that table setup on all cruise lines).

Due to numbers onboard, main dining is VERY quiet.

There are probably 6 waiters and 2 section managers per table lol - it can get OTT when you're asked if all is ok at least 6 times during dinner.

Surf n turf for formal night last night - not a big lobster fan so my wife had mine and I ordered an extra main dish.

Certainly no limit if you wanted to try several dishes - even encouraged by section manager.

Great that they will also send someone off to another bar for you - I didnt ask them to but MDR didnt have lime for my lager so then sent someone to the pub - they already knew to do it on night 2.

I did have one really poor experience at Casino bar, including waiter crouching down to drink alcohol, but just know not to go nack to that bar. If Id have reported the issue and him drinking then Im sure he'd have lost his job over it. Of course, if he continues he will eventually get caught and be out.

He's the only bad crew member Ive found - yes many are learning but tjey are all cheery and helpful.

MSC has a hbait of employing eastern European crew bit not on this ship who are mainly Indonesian etc and therefore more outgping in general.

That’s really helpful thank you Couple-Somerset!

I’m very keen on window tables, did you mean you have to eat at 6:30pm to guarantee one?

Noooo but you are virtually guatanteed of one if you get in nefore 6.30pm

After that there may be a wait.

Note however that they are window tables NOT window seats - the person sat next to window may have to crane their kneck to see out, whereas the person sat next to the wall can look ahead to the side to see out the window.

I still havent managed to get the QR menu scanning to work.

I even paid for internet as the QR reader would open a url link but then nothing would open or download.

Can you advise how people (and me) can get the menus please.
