firefly333 Posted May 21, 2021 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2021 No one knows, but with rcl sailing from nassau, I'd say if cozumel is open for them in june and nassau those surely will be open. Belize is poor, I cant see them saying no. But the first two will be open we know.

It depends on the answer to some key questions: Define "open". Is it unfettered access to the port by passengers? Would you settle for cruise ship excursions only? How about a technical stop where you can dock but no one can get off? Will the CDC and/or the State Department actually enforce the current "do not sail" recommendation to most of the Caribbean ports? Does the CDC consider your cruise "fully vaccinated"? Are you (and your family, if applicable) fully vaccinated? It matters to what the CDC will allow you to do and possibly what and where you can do it. Rare BoozinCroozin Posted May 21, 2021 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2021 I am guessing all but Grand Cayman unless they change. I expect Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatan, Belize, Jamaica, St Thomas, St Maarten, and several others all to be open.

We'd love to have y'all back: please drop by! Big vaccination drive is ongoing, here on the island and we hope you're doing your bit too, to help both sides of this equation
Radiioman46 Posted May 21, 2021 #9 Share Posted May 21, 2021 I figured that Carnival would have made arrangements with all the ports on their itinerary. Why would they put together an itinerary with unknown status for their destinations?

But take a look at the itineraries of the ships sailing from Caribbean islands. Celebrity Millennium from st. Maarten, Crystal Symphony from st. Maarten and Antigua. Those islands are open... Radiioman46 Posted May 21, 2021 #12 Share Posted May 21, 2021 The only port that I would really be concerned about is the Grand Caymens because didn't they state that they were not going to be accepting cruise ships back? Or limiting how many can drop anchor?
