Anybody have Aruba Spa experience???

My kids and I are thinking of doing the ABC jeep tour while in Aruba, but my wife refuses to go due to a bad back. Does anyone know of a great spa she could go to while we are getting beat to death by a jeep???!!!??!!

Minorhawk, I took my wife to Mandara Spa at the Marriott Hotel on Valentine's day. It was my first Spa experience and the second for my wife. I think it was pretty good, but then again I can't compare. My wife thought it was as good or better than her first time at Tierra Del Sol. I can't recall the name of that one though. There are several packages to choose from at the Mandara Spa. We went with the 2 hour treatment.

Starts with a rubdown with massage oil of your choosing and salt granules. Next a hot shower. Then 20 minutes of whirlpool. Then another rubdown with massage oil (sans salt this time). this second rubdown is a lenghty one which will leave you feeling great. On this second rubdown they really dig deep to get the knots out.

When you're done, you have the option to take a shower again, but the lady advised us not to, and let our skin absorb the oil, so we did. This left our skin feeling incredibly soft for the rest of the day. We were glad we didn't wash off afterwards.

There were packages for manicure. pedicure and also other kinds of massages. Maybe we'll try those in the future. All in all we were very satisfied with the treatment, and although we did think it was a little bit pricey we may be repeating it again sometime later this year.
