Both of my cruises (this December & next October) are quite a bit higher now, than when I booked. I guess not everyone has access to the “deal” that you do.  Over the years, I have not seen any of my cruises drop in price after I booked them.

My cruise dropped back to what I paid, which to me was not a great deal. However I did see some dates with better prices, I just picked a too popular date. ..however i was able to change cheap to cneers.

I'm trying to book another cruise which is a great deal, but I waited for 2 days and the cabin I wanted just as I booked disappeared, but I'll take a less desirable cabin if I have too, also with cheers. Decided the cheers deals too good to pass up. I think my TA is waiting to see if the cabin I sent him this morning shows back up or someone grabbed it just as I was going to. Still going to be the same cruise. It's a shortie, and I couldnt decide, back and forth. All these undecided protocols made me wait. Not the cruise.

Prices have not dropped below the Casino deals I booked them under. Friends of ours were considering coming with us but the prices now put it out of reach for them. Really I am thankful we have the canceled cruise OBC working for us

I still have the Ultra, the free inside cabin with OBC and the Premier with $500.  I used up my free balcony offers and I'm waiting for something great again but I have a feeling they want to see me in the casino before they extend me something special again.  No problem! 🤑

I'm paying full price at what I'd consider pre covid prices, so even though a huge drop, not enough to get money off, but I got cheers for $35.

Lol I guess they decided too good of a deal too, they removed my cheers offer now. Best I ever saw cheers. $5 a day, $25 for 5 days or $35 on the 7 days.

Military rates are like $10 cheaper per cabin at the 6 day I looked at but I can go on a 7 day with msc with one extra port for $150 less after my discount with them.my wife likes the comedy club on carnival  other than that msc wins in my book.

I looked for a deal, could not find one. I booked anyway. I was told by my carnival PP that I had to book by September to utilize my $600 obc.  I have one more to book before September.

Unfortunately, none of our cruises have gone down.  Fortunately, when looking at a cruise yesterday I put a hold on the reservation.  Went back two hours later and it had gone from $524.00 to $614.00. SOO happy I had put a hold on it!!  (checked today and it has gone down to $579.00 - but still higher than what we booked.)

I checked out the Cheers packages. We generally book interior rooms and to use the package we would have to upgrade our room and pay considerably more than we are currently paying for room + Cheers.  So we'll be sticking with the $200 deposit/$200 OBC.

Three booked over the next two years already!

Sounds like casino pricing.

The cheers and wifi I'm talking about showed for all categories, though the cheers is GONE. POOF.  I managed to get it twice before they removed it from my offers. Not a casino offer.

I guess it's a limited offer how many times you can get it. .. or the carnival rep removed it. I accidentally put a hold on a date I didnt want. Waited on hold a hour. He said cant cancel the hold, you have a ta. I said my ta isnt connected to this hold. He said sorry and transferred me. I hung up. So I had a 3rd date on hold with cheers but it finally expired.

We just booked the 7 day Alaskan cruise last night for September.  Got an Interior category cabin that's on Deck 4 and has huge windows with obstructed views.  Price was only about $670/pp plus port fees and taxes.  It also came with $500 OBC.  Since they got the waiver to avoid canceling the entire season, I figured this was probably the safest itinerary to be on.  Seattle to Alaska and back.  Can't wait.  We had wanted to do something special last summer for our 40th anniversary, but we all know what happened.  This Alaskan cruise starts the day after our 41st anniversary.  We've cruised to Alaska 3 times already, and absolutely LOVE it up there.  I will also be retired in 2 more days after 20 years in education, so this is the first time we've been able to really travel for our anniversary.
